HELVETIC WERKSTOFFE AG, Rothusstrasse 9, CH-6331 Hünenberg ZG, Switzerland. Contact: info@helvetic-werkstoffe.ch, +41 44 950 20 50.
2. Website and server logs
When you access the website, the hosting provider cyon GmbH processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser information to deliver the website and prevent attacks.
This processing is based on our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where applicable, on Swiss data protection law.
3. Contact enquiries
When you contact us through the form, by email or by telephone, we process the details you provide (name, company, business email, optional telephone number, subject, message and language) to handle your enquiry and maintain business relationships.
The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
For no more than 15 minutes we store a hash of your IP address to prevent abusive form submissions.
4. Recipients and transfers
Hosting and email delivery are provided by cyon GmbH, Switzerland. No external form, analytics, advertising or AI provider is involved. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Switzerland benefits from an EU adequacy decision; transfers from the EU to Switzerland therefore require no additional safeguards.
5. Retention
Contact enquiries are deleted once they are no longer required to handle the request and no statutory retention obligations apply. Server logs are retained according to the hosting provider's configuration; the rate-limit hash is deleted after no more than 15 minutes.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. Write to info@helvetic-werkstoffe.ch.
You may lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the GDPR applies, you may also complain to the supervisory authority in your EU member state.
7. No automated decisions
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling. This policy will be updated when features, providers or processing activities change.
